However, she’s been rather unsettled lately and prefers not to engage. Perhaps she’s still harboring resentment from the wedding incident. It might be best to allow her additional time.”
After a pause, Edmund replied, “She’s a sensitive woman. You should devote more time to her. Don’t neglect her because of work. And considering she’s pregnant, her well-being should be our top priority. I’ll make arrangements to visit her.”
